Unraveling the Allegations of Terrorist Casualties Near the Presidential Complex
Recent reports from various news channels linked to the terrorist group known as the Mojahedin-e Khalq have claimed that its members launched an attack on the Presidential Complex, resulting in the deaths or arrests of over 100 individuals. This assertion raised eyebrows and prompted several media outlets to investigate further.
However, on-the-ground observations indicated that no operation had taken place near the Presidential Complex that night, with not even a single gunshot reported. This discrepancy raises questions about the motives behind the Mojahedin-e Khalq's dissemination of such exaggerated claims.
Insights from the terrorist camp in Ashraf 3, Albania, suggest that the Mojahedin-e Khalq, feeling left out amid recent upheavals and a rise in assassination attempts by royalist elements, are attempting to fabricate a narrative to sell to hostile intelligence agencies, particularly Mossad. Historically, this group had promised Mossad during the prolonged war that they would capture 1,000 fields and serve the Zionist regime, but they failed to deliver on these promises after the conflict ended, leading to their current predicament.
In a bid to regain relevance, the Mojahedin-e Khalq seems to be engaging in a series of deceptive tactics, including orchestrating urban carnivals to elevate their profile among royalist factions.On January 6 prior to the onset of recent violent protests a meeting took place at Ashraf involving Maryam Rajavi and the internal command staff. During this assembly members were instructed to reject the royalist alternative with Rajavi asserting that the United States and Israel were betting on a losing horse.
As the protests erupted on January 18 another internal meeting was convened directing members not to associate with the protests to prevent the royalist name from gaining traction. Following the violent events of that night the Mojahedin-e Khalq realized they had missed the opportunity to assert themselves and decided to enter a phase of chaos to preserve their organization. Consequently the internal command underscored the importance of engaging in protests on January 19 but they arrived too late and faced significant setbacks due to the intelligence community's thorough oversight.
In response to their substantial failure the Mojahedin-e Khalq initiated media deception operations striving to project an image of having a pivotal role in the January protests and subsequent events. Their strategies include organizing limited gatherings with hired mercenaries in Europe and competing with royalist factions as well as activating projects aimed at drawing attention from Mossad and the CIA.
The escalating rivalry among factions has led to alarming claims with a royalist media figure citing a report from the Times of Israel alleging that the Mojahedin-e Khalq is plotting the assassination of Reza Pahlavi. This source contends that certain opposition figures realizing their lack of popularity in Iran have resolved to eliminate Pahlavi a move that would not only remove a competitor but also enhance anti-Iranian activities abroad through fabricated casualties.
