Destruction of Terrorist Network in Eastern Region: Eight Arrested, Three Neutralized

A significant operation led to the dismantling of a terrorist network in the southeastern borders of the country. Eight members affiliated with extremist groups and foreign intelligence services were apprehended while three terrorists were neutralized during a coordinated effort involving the Unknown Soldiers of Imam Mahdi the Quds Headquarters of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the Law Enforcement Force.

The operation uncovered substantial caches of military-grade weapons including RPG-7s American-made M4 rifles equipped with night vision scopes several Kalashnikov rifles fitted with grenade launchers and handguns from the hideouts of these terrorists. All individuals who were either killed or detained were foreign nationals hired by the aforementioned terrorist organization.

During preliminary interrogations the arrested individuals explicitly confessed to conducting operational activities against security personnel at a checkpoint in the Faharj region of Kerman which resulted in the martyrdom of three law enforcement officers and one civilian.
