In a Ramadan speech, Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi, the leader of Yemen’s Houthi movement, emphasized the escalating actions of the Israeli regime against Islamic holy sites, asserting that Al-Aqsa Mosque is at the forefront of the enemy’s objectives. He described the policies being implemented as ‘extremely dangerous and highly hostile.’
He pointed out the increasing restrictions placed on Palestinian worshippers at Al-Aqsa Mosque. The enemies are trying to limit Muslim access to this sacred site by imposing specific quotas on the number of individuals allowed to pray there. These actions align with a long-term project aimed at altering the Islamic identity of Al-Aqsa.The Houthi leader further stated that one of the ultimate goals of the Jewish community is to destroy Al-Aqsa Mosque, a significant and sacred Islamic symbol, and replace it with their alleged temple.
He warned that the enemies are attempting to lead the Islamic nation into a state of indifference and passivity, ultimately paving the way for a very dangerous incident to occur.Abdul-Malik al-Houthi also highlighted the ongoing atrocities committed by the Israelis in Gaza, noting that daily killings, destruction, and explosions of buildings continue unabated, with a persistent state of hunger and siege.
He reported severe and blatant violations occurring in the West Bank at the hands of the Israeli regime.In another part of his address, he referenced the Israeli aggressions against Lebanon, stating that extensive attacks, including airstrikes and other forms of aggression, continue despite ceasefire agreements and guarantees.In response to remarks by Mike Huckabee the U.S. ambassador to Israel al-Houthi asserted that these statements reflect the official policies of the United States.
He emphasized that the U.S. is complicit in all crimes and aggressions perpetrated by the Israeli enemy participating in its goals and conspiracies against nations countries and regional resources. Al-Houthi noted that the repeated statements from the U.S. ambassador further reveal Washington’s support for the expansionist agenda of the Israeli regime over the region and its peoples.
