According to international news sources, Palestinian reports today reveal a significant escalation in violence as Israeli occupation forces and settlers stormed multiple areas in the West Bank, including an incident in Nablus where a mosque was set on fire.
The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that during the Israeli military incursion in the ‘Marhaba Level’ area of ‘Ramallah’, a young Palestinian was shot and injured by the occupying forces.Additionally, Israeli soldiers targeted the town of ‘Yabad’ in the southwestern part of Jenin, located in northern West Bank. Reports indicate that the invaders attacked several residential homes, conducting searches and detaining numerous Palestinian citizens.
Further reports highlight incursions into the cities and camps of ‘Beit Furik’ in eastern ‘Nablus’. Sources also noted that Israeli forces launched attacks in the western regions of Nablus, setting fire to the door of a mosque situated between the villages of ‘Tal’ and ‘Sira’ in western Nablus.Simultaneously, as the Israeli military escalated its assaults across various West Bank cities, the ‘Al-Far’a’ and ‘Aqaba’ camps in ‘Tubas’, along with ‘Halhul’ and the ‘Al-Fawwar’ camp in ‘Hebron’, came under attack from Israeli forces.
Local sources reported that during these assaults, several homes were searched, and at least three young men named Ahmad Taloul, Ibrahim Rami Al-Jamal, and Mohammad Abdul Nasser Odeh were arrested.With the onset of the holy month of Ramadan the frequency and intensity of assaults by Israeli forces and settlers in the West Bank have increased significantly. The Israeli regime has even imposed severe restrictions on worshippers attempting to access Al-Aqsa Mosque.
