Oman’s Foreign Minister Reveals Iran’s Willingness to Accept American Inspectors

In a recent interview with CBS the Foreign Minister of Oman announced significant progress in negotiations regarding Iran’s nuclear program. He expressed optimism about a potential agreement that could be more favorable than previous accords highlighting Iran’s readiness to allow American inspectors access to its nuclear facilities.

The minister conveyed hope that American inspectors would gain entry to Iranian nuclear sites emphasizing that if a comprehensive agreement is reached international inspectors will also be permitted to visit these critical locations. However he acknowledged that there are still unresolved details that need to be addressed to finalize a thorough agreement.

Furthermore he expressed a desire for the advancements made in negotiations to prevent any military action from the United States. He clarified that Oman is acting as an independent mediator in these discussions and he hopes Israel will refrain from attacking Iran wishing to avoid a repeat of last year’s events.
