In an international news report, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, our Foreign Minister, stated that while we must recognize a security weakness existed, we have successfully overcome it. The 12-day war has taught us numerous lessons, and this issue stands out as a crucial example.

He further elaborated that all high-ranking commanders who were assassinated were promptly replaced, and we initiated our self-defense measures from the very first day. On the night of the Israeli attack, we retaliated with missiles, and our strikes became increasingly precise and targeted each day.Araghchi continued by revealing that on the twelfth day the Israelis requested an unconditional ceasefire. American officials contacted us indicating that Israel would halt its actions and they urged us to do the same. We responded by stating that we would accept an unconditional ceasefire; otherwise we would persist in our self-defense efforts.

In another segment of his remarks our Foreign Minister described the events as a terrorist operation. He asserted that if India were to face a similar terrorist act it would undoubtedly respond in the same manner.
