Escalating Violence by Settlers in the West Bank Displaces 42 Families

The United Nations Human Rights Office has reported a troubling increase in violence perpetrated by settlers in the West Bank occurring without any deterrent measures in place. Those responsible for these attacks enjoy complete impunity raising serious concerns about accountability.

In a recent statement the office highlighted the displacement of 42 families from areas including the Jordan Valley Ein Sinya Al-Khalil and Ramon. These families were forced to abandon their homes due to a marked escalation in settler violence.

The United Nations Human Rights Office is calling for an end to the occupation and a halt to the expansion of settlements. It emphasizes the urgent need for protective measures for civilians caught in the conflict.
