Hamas Condemns Ongoing Bombardment of Gaza as Disregard for Peace Efforts

The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has declared that the continued bombardment of the Gaza Strip represents a blatant disregard for the efforts of mediators and a dismissal of the Peace Council’s role.

Hazem Qassem the spokesperson for Hamas emphasized that the rising number of casualties resulting from the relentless attacks by the occupying regime across Gaza is a clear indication of this regime’s indifference towards mediators’ attempts and the Peace Council’s influence.

He further noted that the Israeli regime continues its devastating genocidal war against the people asserting that the only change has been in the form and method of these actions. This situation highlights that the assurances from guarantor countries regarding the cessation of hostilities lack any genuine backing in practice.
