Recent Israeli Military Operations in the West Bank: A Summary of Events

In a continuation of military operations by the Israeli regime in the West Bank forces have recently conducted raids in several towns and villages engaging in field inspections arrests and gunfire.

Local sources reported that Israeli forces stormed the settlement of Sebastia in the northwest of Nablus where they searched multiple residential homes and initiated extensive field investigations.

In the northeast of Ramallah two citizens from Silwad were injured after Israeli soldiers opened fire on a vehicle near Deir Jarir. Additionally Israeli forces fired sound bombs at vehicles at the Silwad intersection.

The settlement of Mithlon in the south of Jenin also faced an incursion by military personnel. Concurrently local sources indicated that Israeli forces invaded the city of Qalqilya.

In the west of Ramallah a substantial ground troop from the Israeli army entered the village of Badris. Meanwhile during an operation in the settlement of Deir al-Ghusun in the north of Tulkarm five young individuals were detained.

Israeli military vehicles also attacked the settlement of Barqin in the west of Jenin. In another development Israeli forces raided a gathering in Wadi al-Jawaya in the western area of Masafer Yatta south of Hebron.

Reports have also emerged of Israeli soldiers physically assaulting several youths during their entry into the area of Wadi Az-Zaidin in the city of Jenin. Furthermore the northern region of occupied Jerusalem saw incursions into the settlement of Al-Ram.
