Arab Nations Urged to Cut Ties with Israel Following Controversial Remarks by Mike Huckabee
The movement for freedom has issued a strong condemnation of remarks made by Mike Huckabee, the U.S. ambassador to Israel, regarding the alleged right of the Israeli regime to establish a state ‘from the Euphrates to the Nile.’
In their statement, the movement asserted that such comments reflect a full acceptance of aggressive and expansionist policies, posing a direct threat to Arab nations and undermining the rights of peoples to self-determination.
The movement emphasized that these positions signify premeditated plans and intentions that are pursued with the backing of the U.S. government.Additionally the movement called upon Arab countries to adopt a serious and united stance by severing ties with the Israeli regime and halting the normalization process. They urged these nations to request that the United Nations condemn Huckabee’s statements.
In a separate statement the Committee for Monitoring National and Islamic Movements described Huckabee’s remarks as the pinnacle of religious extremism which threatens regional security and stability contradicting the principles of peace efforts international law and the United Nations Charter.
The committee asserted that such statements perpetuate colonial narratives and unfounded claims that have historically contributed to injustice against the people urging Arab and Islamic countries to coordinate their positions to counter this approach.
