Highlighting the Impact of Israeli Actions Against Journalists in New York City

A newly installed display at a subway station in New York City has drawn attention to the alarming issue of journalist fatalities in Gaza attributed to the Israeli regime. This striking message serves as a protest against the violence faced by reporters in conflict zones urging citizens to reflect on the gravity of the situation.

The display emphasizes that the number of journalists killed by Israel in Gaza surpasses the total fatalities of journalists during the American Civil War both World Wars the Korean and Vietnam Wars as well as the Bosnian War. Furthermore a recent report by the Committee to Protect Journalists revealed that at least 129 journalists were killed worldwide in 2025 alone.
