Israel’s Discontent with Green Party’s Support for Resistance

The British newspaper The Telegraph has reported that the Israeli regime has labeled a draft resolution set to be voted on next month by the Green Party of England as ‘disgusting and racist.’ This draft aims to formalize the party’s support for resistance movements and equates Zionism with racism.

According to The Telegraph’s report this proposal which will be presented to party members next month has already provoked anger from Israel even before the voting takes place. In addition to establishing support for resistance as the party’s official policy the resolution also includes a clause that categorizes Zionism as equivalent to racism.

Lebni Qasb the British artist who designed these reforms has previously defended the right to self-defense ‘by any means necessary.’
