Casualty Figures in Gaza Conflict Reach Alarming Heights

The Ministry of Health in Gaza has reported a staggering increase in casualties from the ongoing conflict with the death toll now reaching 72072 since October 7 2023. This grim statistic underscores the severe humanitarian crisis unfolding in the region.

In addition to the fatalities the number of injured individuals has surged to 171741. The latest report indicates that within the last 24 hours the remains of two martyrs and three injured persons were transported to hospitals in Gaza.

Tragically many victims are still trapped under rubble or stranded in the streets as rescue teams face significant challenges in accessing these areas due to ongoing hostilities. The Ministry of Health further noted that since the ceasefire was established on October 11 the total number of martyrs has risen by 614 with injuries totaling 1643 during this period. Furthermore the remains of 726 individuals have been recovered from beneath the rubble during this time.
