Israeli Minister Issues Eviction Orders with Threats of Arrest

Itamar Ben Gvir, the far-right Israeli Minister of National Security, recently delivered demolition and evacuation orders directly to residents in a settlement area of the West Bank. During his visit, he warned the inhabitants that failure to comply with these orders would result in their arrest.

Reports indicate that Ben Gvir informed the residents they had a mere two hours to vacate their homes. In one instance, a homeowner presented documentation proving that the land was registered in his family’s name. However, Ben Gvir dismissed these documents, asserting that Jewish claims supersede any legal or formal evidence.
