Hamas Condemns Smotrich’s Remarks as Contradictory to Peace Council Decisions

Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem has criticized the recent comments made by Bezalel Smotrich asserting that they undermine the decisions established by the Peace Council aimed at ceasing hostilities. Qassem emphasized that Smotrich’s insinuations regarding the resumption of violence are not only dismissive but also disregard the arrangements put in place to foster peace and end the ongoing conflict.

Furthermore Qassem pointed out that the occupying forces have failed to adhere to their commitments during both phases of the ceasefire agreement. This lack of compliance raises serious concerns about the sincerity of the peace process and the future of negotiations.
