Pilgrimage to Al-Aqsa Mosque: Thousands Gather for Second Friday of Ramadan
Residents of Tulkarm in the northern West Bank embarked on a significant journey to the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem to participate in the prayers of the second Friday of the holy month of Ramadan.
From the early hours of the morning, worshippers made their way towards Jerusalem, demonstrating their commitment to their faith despite facing various security restrictions.
Every year during Ramadan, thousands from different cities and refugee camps in the West Bank travel to Al-Aqsa Mosque to partake in the Friday prayers and religious ceremonies, underscoring the mosque’s importance as a spiritual center.This annual pilgrimage reflects the deep-rooted connection that many have with Al-Aqsa highlighting its significance not only as a place of worship but also as a symbol of resilience and unity among the community.
