Israeli Finance Minister Dismisses Palestinian Statehood Aspirations

Bezalel Smotrich the Israeli Finance Minister recently responded to comments made by Mohammad Mustafa the Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority regarding the establishment of an independent state. Smotrich asserted that such aspirations would be eradicated emphasizing that only one nation will prevail in the region.

During his remarks Smotrich mistakenly referred to Mustafa as Mohammad Shtayyeh the former Prime Minister yet he remained resolute in his declaration. He proclaimed that the dream of a Palestinian state would be extinguished insisting that the only recognized country in this territory would be a ‘Jewish state from the river to the sea.’
