Donald Trump, the former President of the United States, recently made baseless claims about the number of victims from American-Israeli terrorist operations in Iran, without providing any evidence to support his assertions.
In response, Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, took to social media to challenge Trump’s claims, stating that anyone doubting the accuracy of Iran’s data should provide evidence.
Araghchi emphasized that in keeping with Iran’s commitment to transparency, the government had previously published a comprehensive list of all 3,117 victims of the recent terrorist operations, including around 200 law enforcement personnel. He insisted that if anyone questioned the validity of this data, they should back it up with proof.Meanwhile, Mike Huckabee, the U.S. Ambassador to Israel, claimed that Israel has the right to occupy the entire Middle East based on Jewish religious texts.
Huckabee discussed the alleged borders claimed by the Zionists, prompting Mohsen Pak Ayin, a former Iranian diplomat and international affairs expert, to analyze the various facets of these unfounded claims by American officials in a conversation with Mizan.
Pak Ayin described Trump’s statements as statistical manipulation, indicating that they do not reflect reality but rather represent fabricated numbers. He noted that after Iran implemented its correct policy and disclosed the names of the victims in detail, the justification for such fabrications from countries like the U.S. or hostile media was effectively nullified. He pointed out that the public is now asking for transparency, questioning why if the U.S. possesses higher figures, they do not publish the names and numbers to validate their claims. Pak Ayin asserted that the lack of evidence from these officials indicates their dishonesty, rendering their claims unworthy of consideration.
He further explained that the repetition of such allegations serves to maintain a hostile narrative against Iran, aiming to sustain pressure that is, in reality, ineffective. The actual number of casualties is well-documented and known.
Regarding Huckabee’s comments on the Israeli regime, Pak Ayin stated that the plan pursued by Israel is not a novel concept but is rooted in the underlying political tenets of Zionism. He highlighted that Israel’s ambition for a ‘Greater Israel,’ stretching from the Nile to the Euphrates, remains a driving force behind its expansionist policies. This vision is ideal for the Israeli regime, which continually seeks to occupy more territory whenever possible.
Pak Ayin emphasized that it does not matter which occupied lands belong to which country—whether they are Palestinian or Arab territories. This is why Israel has historically advanced its agenda through various conflicts, having occupied parts of Syria, Egypt, and Lebanon since its establishment in 1948.
He also addressed recent Israeli plans to expand settlements in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem, stating that these actions violate international norms and United Nations resolutions, and should be analyzed within the context of the ‘Greater Israel’ plan.Pak Ayin explained that the silence of the international community particularly Arab nations contributes to these actions. Despite being aware of Israel’s policies and practices Arab countries have typically only issued ineffective statements without taking meaningful action. He urged the global community especially Muslim nations to take a firmer stance against Israeli settlement expansion.
