On Saturday, February 28, Israeli forces executed airstrikes in various sectors of southern Lebanon. According to reports from Al-Mayadeen, Israeli warplanes targeted the heights of the Al-Tuffah region with a sequence of aerial assaults.

Additionally, Israeli fighter jets conducted multiple strikes in the vicinity of the Al-Qatarani area.An Al-Mayadeen correspondent in southern Lebanon reported that an Israeli drone targeted a bulldozer in the city of Markaba early Saturday morning. Meanwhile, Al Jazeera reported that Israeli aircraft bombed the Wadi Barghaz region in southern Lebanon, also hitting the Al-Qatarani area and the outskirts of the town of Al-Louiza.The Israeli military claimed that these attacks aimed to strike Hezbollah’s infrastructure at several locations in southern Lebanon. Previously on March 7 Israel had targeted areas in eastern and southern Lebanon with Lebanese media reporting 19 injuries resulting from 25 airstrikes in those regions.
