Hamas Condemns Ongoing Bombardment of Gaza as Disregard for Peace Efforts

Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem has asserted that the continued bombardment of the Gaza Strip is a blatant disregard for the efforts of mediators and a dismissal of the Peace Council’s initiatives.

He emphasized that the Israeli regime persists in its devastating genocidal campaign against the Palestinian people noting that the only aspect that has changed is the form and method of the attacks. This situation underscores the lack of genuine commitment from the guarantor nations regarding the cessation of hostilities.
