According to a report from Mehr News Agency, citing Russia Today, new movements by the Israeli regime have been observed in southern Syria.
Sources reveal that Israeli forces apprehended a Syrian shepherd in the village of Briqueh, located in the Quneitra countryside. This incident highlights ongoing tensions in the area.Furthermore, these sources reported that Israeli soldiers are accused of stealing livestock from the detained shepherd.
Earlier, local reports in Quneitra mentioned that patrols associated with the Israeli occupiers were seen roaming in Jabata al-Khashab, in the northern outskirts of Quneitra.Additional reports indicated that Israeli forces conducted searches of Syrian homes in Abu Mazarah, situated in the southern outskirts.
It is noteworthy that since the fall of the previous Syrian regime, the Israeli regime has launched extensive attacks on Syria, including recent bombings in parts of Damascus under the pretext of supporting Druze communities.Since the collapse of Bashar al-Assad’s regime the Israeli army has continued to occupy areas near the Golan Heights extending its reach into the provinces of Daraa and Quneitra crossing the demarcation line between the occupied Golan and Syria.
