According to a statement from the Gaza Human Rights Center, since the ceasefire was established, an alarming average of 4.8 Palestinians have been killed daily. This includes 197 children, 85 women, and 22 elderly individuals, highlighting that 47.2% of the casualties are from vulnerable groups.

In addition, the report reveals that 1,643 others have sustained injuries, averaging 12.3 injuries per day. Among the injured are 504 children, 330 women, and 89 elderly, comprising a significant 56.1% of all injured individuals. The data underscores the severe impact of ongoing violence in the region. The Gaza Human Rights Center emphasized that, over the past 133 days since the ceasefire agreement, there have been daily violations averaging 13.5 incidents. These breaches have targeted individuals protected under international human rights laws, with children and women being the primary victims. Such actions blatantly violate the Geneva Conventions and warrant prosecution in international courts.

Furthermore, the statement highlighted that the violations extend beyond daily killings and bombings. They include the occupying regime’s failure to allow the entry of 600 humanitarian aid trucks daily into Gaza as per the agreements, with only 43% of the required aid reaching the region. Only 15% of the necessary fuel has been allowed entry, severely hampering humanitarian efforts. The report also notes ongoing restrictions at the Rafah crossing where only 40.3% of agreed travelers have been permitted passage. This constitutes a clear violation of the freedom of movement stipulated in the ceasefire agreement.

The Gaza Human Rights Center asserts that these findings reveal the occupying regime’s continued perpetration of genocidal actions including the direct killing of civilians and the destruction of essential living conditions in Gaza. The center condemned the international community’s shameful silence and the lack of accountability for the regime’s officials urging immediate action to halt these aggressions and ensure compliance with international humanitarian law. Independent international investigations are also called for to hold the perpetrators accountable.
