According to reports from Mehr News Agency citing Al Jazeera, Human Rights Watch has stated that since December, the Israeli regime has intensified its activities in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, with the aim of annexing these territories to the occupied lands.
The report highlights that these actions include the planning of new settlement projects, the approval of additional Israeli settlements, and the expansion of existing ones, alongside efforts to seize land in the West Bank.Furthermore on December 10 a tender was issued for the construction of 3401 housing units in East Jerusalem aimed at expanding settlements and connecting the Ma’ale Adumim settlement to the area. This plan threatens to further fragment the geography of the West Bank and displace the Palestinian residents living there.
