According to reports from Mehr News Agency citing Shehab News Agency, the Jordanian Foreign Ministry condemned the remarks made by the U.S. Ambassador to Israel, asserting that the West Bank and Gaza are occupied Palestinian territories. The Ministry emphasized that ending the occupation and establishing an independent Palestinian state are the only viable paths to achieving a just and comprehensive peace.In his provocative statements, U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee claimed that Israel has a divine right to control a significant portion of the Middle East. During an interview in Tel Aviv with American journalist Tucker Carlson, Huckabee was questioned about the concept of a ‘Greater Israel,’ referencing biblical verses from Genesis 15 that discuss the territory ‘from the Nile to the Euphrates.’Carlson inquired whether Huckabee agreed with the perspective that Israel has rights to lands that include Jordan Syria Lebanon and parts of Saudi Arabia and Iraq.
