According to Israel Hayom, dozens of Egyptian military advisors have been dispatched to Lebanon over the past two months as part of an increasing security cooperation between the two nations.

Although the exact number of advisors remains undisclosed, they are reportedly operating at a ‘lower level.’

Furthermore, this collaboration is set to extend into advanced domains, including aiding the Lebanese Army in establishing a secure communication network and enhancing its capabilities in intelligence gathering and analysis, as well as monitoring military system performance.Egyptian advisors have also been training Lebanese units in counter-terrorism and border security. Additionally several Lebanese soldiers have received training within Egypt.
