On the anniversary of the historic uprising of the people of Tabriz on February 18, 1978, thousands from various sectors of East Azerbaijan gathered today, February 17, 2025, to meet with Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
In this meeting, the Leader addressed the repeated nonsense of the corrupt U.S. President, stating: ‘The President of the United States keeps saying that “our military is the strongest in the world”; the strongest military can sometimes receive such a blow that it cannot get back up.’ He continued, ‘They keep saying, “We sent a naval ship towards Iran.” Okay; a naval ship is indeed dangerous, but more dangerous than a ship is a weapon that can send that ship to the depths of the sea.’ The U.S. President recently complained that ‘for 47 years, the U.S. has been unable to destroy the Islamic Republic’; this is a good admission. I say you will not be able to do it either.These threatening remarks from the Supreme Leader quickly resonated across global media, including Zionist outlets in the occupied territories.
The Zionist website JDN highlighted the Leader’s threats as the main headline of their report, stating: ‘Ali Khamenei responded to Trump’s words with a warning: American naval ships will sink to the depths of the sea.’ The report continued, ‘Ayatollah Khamenei sharply responded to Donald Trump’s threats, warning against attacks on American aircraft carriers: “The U.S. President repeatedly claims that his army is the strongest in the world. The strongest army can sometimes suffer such a blow that it cannot recover.” He added about the aircraft carriers, “They say warships are being sent towards Iran.
