University Disciplinary Actions Following Student Protests in Iran

The disciplinary committee of Sharif University of Technology and Shahid Beheshti University has issued warnings to students involved in recent disruptive protests. These messages sent via text highlighted the potential disciplinary consequences of participating in such activities.

In the protests that occurred over the past days at Sharif University Beheshti University and several other institutions some students engaged in provocative chants displayed anti-Iranian sentiments and clashed with fellow students using cold weapons. Notably they also set fire to the Iranian flag an act that garnered approval from opposition groups and accounts associated with the Israeli regime.
