According to reports from Mashregh, the Hebrew-language newspaper ‘Ma’ariv’ has unveiled the shock and astonishment of the occupying army regarding the vast amount of intelligence Hezbollah has gathered about Israel.

The report claims that approximately a year ago, Israeli forces arrested a senior commander of Hezbollah in Lebanon, an individual who played a crucial role in leading the maritime branch of the movement.Ma’ariv noted that the interrogations of this commander left Israeli security officials stunned, as they revealed that Hezbollah had managed to collect precise data on strategic facilities and the movements of ships within the economic waters of the occupied territories.

A military source stated, ‘The large volume of information regarding plans and data provided by the opposing side formed the basis for part of our recent exercises. This training focused on our ability to counter potential threats such as attacks on ships and strategic facilities.’The Israeli military confirmed that this multi-day exercise was conducted in the economic waters of the Mediterranean Sea and included battles in several different locations.

In recent days, the Israeli Navy conducted a comprehensive maneuver that involved all three of its main fleets, along with forces from the Air Force and the Information and Communications Technology sector, concluding last Tuesday.According to Ma’ariv the objective of this exercise was to enhance readiness for protecting economic waters and strategic maritime facilities of Israel defending borders and engaging in battles on multiple fronts simultaneously commanded by the Third Fleet (submarine fleet) with Fleets 13 and 14 also participating.
