According to reports, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the decision by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet to register and seize lands in the occupied West Bank under the guise of ‘state lands.’ The ministry emphasized that Israel’s attempt to redefine these lands as ‘state property’ is unacceptable.As reported by Al-Hadath, the ministry further stated that this Israeli decision aims to impose a new legal and administrative reality in the West Bank. Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Ministry asserted that the Israeli regime has no sovereignty over the occupied Palestinian territories.The ministry added that this unlawful decision is a blatant violation of international law. It reiterated that Israel’s actions regarding the West Bank undermine efforts to achieve peace and stability in the region.The Israeli newspaper ‘Israel Hayom’ reported on Sunday that Israel is moving forward with plans to register lands in the West Bank in preparation for transferring them to government-controlled properties.The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas previously declared that Israel’s plan to register and seize West Bank lands under the label of ‘state lands’ is void and issued by an illegitimate occupying power. The statement highlighted that this action is an attempt to impose settlement realities and Jewishization through force constituting a clear violation of international laws and relevant United Nations resolutions.
