According to reports, the Loyalty to Resistance faction in the Lebanese Parliament has issued a stark warning: if a war against the Islamic Republic of Iran begins, the United States will be unable to control the repercussions, leading to a comprehensive regional war that could engulf the entire Middle East.
This faction emphasized in a statement that Iran’s position, under the leadership of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and supported by Iranian officials and the populace, is firmly rooted in resistance against any form of aggression. They cautioned that if the U.S. initiates hostilities, it will lose the ability to dictate the course and fate of the conflict, which will inevitably escalate into a regional war.The Loyalty to Resistance faction expressed complete solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran at all levels—leadership, government, and citizenry. They highlighted that Iran’s steadfast position, both politically and among its people, equips it to repel any potential aggression.
The statement further noted that over the years, the Islamic Republic of Iran has set a commendable example for nations and governments in safeguarding national sovereignty and thwarting the conspiracies of adversaries.
Additionally, the faction congratulated the leadership, officials, and people of Iran on the 47th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution’s victory, wishing for the continued dignity and success of the Islamic Republic.In another part of the statement the faction condemned the escalating criminal aggressions of the Israeli regime against Lebanon including daily assassinations widespread targeting of civilian infrastructure the dumping of toxic materials on farms and agricultural lands threats to citizen health and desertification in border areas.
Finally the faction denounced the silence of the international community regarding these actions holding international organizations directly responsible for the ongoing aggressions.
