According to reports, Jasper Jeffers, the commander of the international security forces in Gaza, stated on Thursday during a so-called peace council meeting that five countries have allocated forces to serve in the international security forces in Gaza: Indonesia, Morocco, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, and Albania.
He added that Egypt and Jordan have committed to training police forces. The international security forces will commence operations in Rafah, located in southern Gaza, where police training will begin and will expand gradually.Jeffers elaborated on the long-term plan which includes the deployment of 20000 international security personnel and the training of 12000 police officers.
It appears that the majority of these forces will come from Indonesia as President Prabowo Subianto has announced that Jakarta will send 8000 troops to Gaza.
