According to reports from Mashreq, the Israeli Army Radio has confirmed that a soldier was injured in a vehicle attack near Nablus, located in the northern West Bank.

Some Israeli sources indicated that a Palestinian truck collided with an Israeli police patrol. They claimed that no injuries were reported among the Israeli soldiers; however, the police detained the truck driver and another suspect.Earlier, sources within the Israeli regime reported that, following directives from political officials, the military plans to close all crossings in the West Bank during Ramadan. Only two crossings, ‘Rachel’ in the south and ‘Qalandiya’ in the north, will remain open for limited Palestinian passage. Additionally, security measures around agricultural checkpoints and main roads in the West Bank will be intensified, and military operations are expected to continue.Meanwhile Israeli media has reported that internal assessments by security agencies suggest that the situation in the West Bank is nearing a ‘boiling point’ during Ramadan. Security analysts have emphasized that the ongoing ban on the entry of thousands of Palestinian workers into the occupied territories alongside wage crises and a downturn in economic activity could lead to spontaneous or organized conflicts in various regions of the West Bank. This escalation may push the situation beyond control posing significant challenges for the security apparatus in the coming weeks.
