According to reports, Hazem Qassem, spokesperson for the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), responded today to the Israeli assault on police stations in the Gaza Strip. He stated that these attacks are carried out under deceptive justifications.
The Hamas spokesperson emphasized that the escalation of violence and the targeting of civilians by the criminal Israeli occupiers in Gaza, including last night’s assault on police centers resulting in the martyrdom of several police officers, constitutes a serious breach of the ceasefire.He further remarked that this dangerous escalation against the Palestinian people clearly demonstrates the enemy’s disregard for all efforts aimed at establishing peace in the Gaza Strip. It reflects the enemy’s insistence on undermining the words of peace council participants.
Last night the Israeli regime targeted the police center in the Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza with a drone strike leading to the martyrdom of three police officers and injuring several others.
