Israeli Strategy to Involve the U.S. in Conflict with Iran, Claims Iranian Official

In a recent interview with India Today Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi asserted that Israel is the sole entity in the region actively seeking war. He emphasized that Israel is attempting to draw the United States into a conflict with Iran a move they cannot execute independently. According to Araghchi Israel has previously failed in its efforts and is now seeking U.S. assistance to achieve its agenda.

Araghchi further elaborated on the implications of this strategy describing it as a catastrophic plan orchestrated by Israeli leadership specifically under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He expressed skepticism regarding Israel’s ambitions to solidify its dominance in the region stating that such aspirations are unlikely to materialize. The Iranian official pointed out numerous indications that suggest Israel is trying to provoke President Trump into engaging in war with Iran a scenario he believes would be profoundly regrettable and contrary to the interests of the American populace.
