Former Pakistani Ambassador Highlights Iran’s Resilience Against U.S. Pressure

Rafaat Masood, the former Pakistani ambassador to Tehran, emphasized the critical role of diplomacy in achieving favorable outcomes in the ongoing nuclear negotiations. Addressing the President of the United States, he asserted that the Iranian people are not a nation to be bullied, and they will not submit to any form of military dominance.

Masood pointed out that both the United States and Israel have recognized the strength of Iran’s missile program. He warned that any military confrontation would provoke a fierce response from Tehran, leading to catastrophic consequences.He criticized the new agreement proposed by Donald Trump describing it as an expression of his self-centered approach. Masood characterized Trump as a lone wolf who seeks to leave his mark on various agreements and treaties he announces and enacts.

In his remarks directed at the United States he reiterated that the Iranian people are resilient and revolutionary prepared to defend their interests against any form of coercion.
