U.S. State Department Denies Claims of Employee Withdrawals from Iraq and Kuwait

The United States Department of State has officially refuted claims regarding the withdrawal of non-essential personnel from Iraq and Kuwait.

Tommy Pigott the Deputy Spokesperson for the State Department addressed the situation following reports suggesting a reduction in American forces in the region. He firmly stated ‘This is not accurate.’

In a related announcement the State Department has permitted the departure of non-essential government employees and their family members from the U.S. Embassy in Israel.
