Hamas Leadership Reports on Gaza Ceasefire Violations to Iranian Foreign Minister

Mohammad Darwish the head of Hamas’s leadership council recently communicated with Seyed Abbas Araqchi the Iranian Foreign Minister to convey Ramadan greetings and provide an update on the ceasefire situation in Gaza.

In his letter Darwish reaffirmed Hamas’s commitment to the ceasefire agreement while detailing the blatant violations perpetrated by the Israeli regime. These violations include daily attacks the killing of civilians—particularly women and children—the detention of Palestinians severe restrictions on humanitarian aid obstructions at the Rafah crossing and hindrances to the reconstruction of essential infrastructure.

Darwish emphasized the urgent need for serious intervention by mediators and the international community to compel the Israeli regime to halt the killings adhere to the terms of the agreement lift restrictions facilitate aid delivery and end the torture of prisoners.
