According to a report by the News Agency, Ziad Abuhis, a Jerusalem affairs expert, pointed out the Israeli regime’s actions and restrictions against Palestinian worshippers at Al-Aqsa Mosque. He noted that since the beginning of Ramadan, Israeli authorities have ramped up their operations within the mosque compound, intensifying daily incursions.Abuhis views this trend as a precursor to broader changes in the future. He explained that the incursions during Ramadan have remained consistent from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM. However, this year, the occupying police decided to extend this period by a full hour, now running from 6:30 AM to 11:30 AM, totaling five hours each day. This extension is not merely a temporary measure for Ramadan but indicates a clear intention to expand incursions moving forward. He further revealed that the timing of incursions on regular days has gradually shifted in recent years, now divided into two periods: a morning session and an afternoon session from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM.Abuhis added that the occupying cabinet aims to gradually increase these hours after Ramadan as part of efforts to achieve ‘temporal parity’. This means that the hours of presence for Israeli settlers and Palestinian worshippers inside Al-Aqsa Mosque would be equal with the mosque also being closed at night.
