Iran’s Diplomatic Stance: Commitment to Result-Oriented Negotiations

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs addressed allegations that Iran is merely stalling in negotiations asserting that such claims lack any basis in reality. The Iranian government has consistently expressed its willingness to engage in uninterrupted discussions for days or weeks to achieve a conclusive outcome. It is clear that Iran has no interest in prolonging negotiations without purpose.

In response to questions regarding the potential acceptance of the Additional Protocol by Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi the spokesperson noted that Iran had previously implemented the protocol voluntarily during the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) period. This experience underscores that such voluntary implementation is contingent upon reciprocal actions particularly concerning sanctions.

The core issue is not new; it serves as a tool to enhance assurances about the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear program. Furthermore when questioned about Israel’s intentions to dismantle the Shiite axis led by Iran through various means including the failure of nuclear negotiations the diplomat remarked “A camel dreams of cotton seeds.”

Iranian officials have repeatedly highlighted that the regime’s goal is regional dominance. While the notion of control from the Nile to the Euphrates was once dismissed as a fabricated claim to discredit the Israeli regime it is now openly acknowledged as part of their mission. Such statements lead regional countries to recognize the immediate and ongoing threat to peace and security posed by this regime. It is imperative that all nations in the region collaborate more effectively to counter these dangerous delusions that consistently jeopardize regional stability and security.
