IAEA Director General Asserts Neutrality Amidst Concerns Over Iran’s Nuclear Program

Rafael Grossi the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency addressed the recent military actions by the United States and Israel against Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities during the twelve-day conflict. He firmly stated that the agency has not colluded with any party to instigate a war against Iran maintaining a position of impartiality and objectivity throughout the situation.

Grossi underscored the importance of neutrality and the need for the agency to convey the truth. However he found himself in a contradictory stance noting “On one hand there is no evidence to suggest that they are pursuing the development of nuclear weapons. Yet on the other hand there are factors that raise concerns. We have requested Iran to grant us full access.”
