According to a political report, Ramadan Sharif, the head of the Central Committee for International Quds Day, spoke at the second meeting of the committee. He highlighted the significance and extensive support from Islamic Iran for the Palestinian people and the resistance front. Over the years, we have showcased our unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their fighters with renewed enthusiasm and a more serious commitment.
He proudly noted that the Islamic Revolution of Iran is set to hold the second national rally in honor of International Quds Day, backed by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution.Sharif remarked on the global understanding of the nature of the Zionist regime, stating that if Imam Khomeini raised this issue 47 years ago, today the world has clearly recognized this truth.
He referenced the tragic loss of over 90,000 innocent lives in Gaza in less than the past two years, mentioning the destruction of thousands of homes, mosques, churches, clinics, hospitals, universities, and schools. These events have heightened global awareness regarding the essence of the Zionist regime. The head of the International Quds Day Committee emphasized the global awakening following the Al-Aqsa Flood operation, declaring this awakening as a valuable asset that, God willing, will continue. The Zionist regime is facing dire conditions on multiple fronts, yet the resistance movement, particularly the people of Gaza, remains steadfast in their commitment to the Palestinian cause despite the adversities they face.
Sharif stressed that the Zionist regime has failed to achieve any of its declared objectives, while Hamas continues to stand strong, supported by the people of Gaza, whose leaders are determined to persist in the struggle for the liberation of Jerusalem and the rights of the oppressed Palestinian people. He also noted the 46-year history of the Intifada and Quds Committee activities confidently asserting that our current situation leading up to International Quds Day is far more vibrant relevant and motivated than in the past.
