According to international reports, the Jordanian House of Representatives has unanimously approved the proposal initiated by Hayel Ayash to remove the term ‘Israel’ from its official records.

This decision garnered substantial support from Jordanian lawmakers. During the session, there was a strong emphasis on the necessity of taking a firm stance against the remarks made by the U.S. Ambassador in Tel Aviv. Mazen Al-Qadi, the Speaker of the Jordanian Parliament, characterized these statements as threats to peace and the sovereignty of the nation.Last Thursday U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee stated in an interview that Israel’s dominance over the entire Middle East including the West Bank could be considered ‘acceptable’.

This position received widespread backing from the head of the Islamic Action Front faction Saleh Al-Aramouti who described the decision as a proud moment for the Parliament reflecting its commitment to national and Arab issues.

In this context the Speaker of the House sharply criticized the remarks made by the U.S. Ambassador in Tel Aviv asserting that such provocative comments violate the rights of the Palestinian people. He reiterated that the West Bank and Gaza are entirely Palestinian territories.
