In a recent statement, Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi, the leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement, highlighted the alarming escalation of attacks on Islamic sanctities, particularly the Al-Aqsa Mosque. He pointed out that new restrictions have been imposed on worshippers seeking to enter this sacred site.

Al-Houthi characterized these actions as a ‘hostile and extremely dangerous step,’ asserting that setting a limit on the number of worshippers at Al-Aqsa is a blatant violation of religious freedom and an incitement against the Islamic community. He warned that the ultimate goal of the adversaries is to demolish Al-Aqsa and replace it with their so-called ‘temple.’He emphasized that these enemies are striving to lead the community into a state of apathy, paving the way for potentially catastrophic events.

Al-Houthi also lamented the ongoing atrocities in Gaza, where daily killings persist alongside relentless bombings and a dire humanitarian crisis exacerbated by the blockade. He noted that Israeli aggressions continue unabated in the West Bank and that severe attacks on Lebanon are also ongoing. In response to remarks made by the U.S. ambassador in the occupied territories, Al-Houthi stated that such comments reflect U.S. policies, which support the Israeli enemy’s dominance over the region and its peoples. He declared that the U.S. is complicit in all of Israel’s crimes, aggressions, objectives, and conspiracies.Al-Houthi asserted that the only path to salvation for the community lies in turning to God. He emphasized that reliance on ineffective strategies leads to a mirage of hope a lesson proven by decades of experience. He urged unity and faith as the true means to withstand the challenges posed by the adversaries.
