According to international reports, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has disclosed efforts to form a fresh coalition in the region. This coalition, as he described, is intended to stand against what he referred to as the ‘Shia axis’ and the emerging ‘Sunni axis’.Netanyahu stated that this new coalition is being designed with the participation of India and several Arab, African, and Mediterranean countries. He emphasized, ‘We will create an integrated system resembling a hexagonal coalition around or within the Middle East.’He outlined that this framework will include India Arab nations African countries and Mediterranean nations such as Greece and Cyprus. Additionally Netanyahu noted that other Asian countries would also be involved in this initiative although he did not disclose their names.
