In a recent statement, Volker Turk, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, issued a stark warning about the humanitarian crisis unfolding in Gaza.

Turk emphasized that the conditions in Gaza remain dire, stating, ‘Palestinians are being killed by Israeli fire, and incoming aid is insufficient.’According to reports from Al Jazeera, he noted, ‘Aid is not entering Gaza in adequate amounts compared to the immense needs.’

The UN official expressed deep concerns about potential ethnic cleansing in both Gaza and the West Bank, highlighting that ‘Israel is intensifying its efforts to illegally annex Palestinian territories.’Furthermore Turk asserted ‘Any sustainable solution in the Middle East must include a two-state resolution.’
