The Israeli Broadcasting Authority prepared a comprehensive report on the series, emphasizing that the portrayal of the Gaza conflict is depicted in a manner that does not cast Israel in a positive light and is overly one-sided.Channel 12 of the Israeli television network harshly criticized the series, claiming that Egypt is attempting to improve its image and that the show serves purely political purposes.
The newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth had expressed concerns about the content of the series prior to its airing, warning that it could negatively influence public perception, especially regarding the treatment of children in Gaza and the Israeli military’s actions towards them, potentially reaching millions of viewers.The series has also been translated into English. ‘Sahab Al-Ard’ addresses the humanitarian crisis faced by residents of Gaza following Israeli attacks featuring Iyad Nassar as a Palestinian father and Menna Shalabi as an Egyptian doctor.
