According to reports from the International Defense Press via Al-Manar, Rami Abou Hamdan, a Hezbollah-affiliated member of the Lebanese Parliament, condemned a recent crime committed by Israeli forces against civilians during iftar in a residential area.

He emphasized that the focus of today’s discourse is not merely on the Israeli enemy, which only understands the language of force, but rather on Lebanese officials who claim responsibility for protecting the security and lives of citizens and the sovereignty of the nation.Abou Hamdan stated that mere condemnation of these aggressions is no longer effective. The blood of the Lebanese people is not a cheap commodity, and officials must implement fundamental changes in their defense strategies for Lebanon. The events occurring nightly in Baalbek and southern Lebanon should not become a normalized issue.

He asserted that Lebanon’s sovereignty should not be treated as a political analysis but should involve decisive actions, including the suspension of ceasefire monitoring committee meetings until these aggressions cease.Abou Hamdan stressed that the actions of the Lebanese government must be swift and effective. The government should fulfill its duties free from the politics of surrender which only emboldens the enemy. Despite the pain and wounds endured the people of Lebanon will remain steadfast on the path of resistance.
