According to international reports from Defense Press, Mahmoud Qamati spoke at a ceremony in Beirut, stating that the severity of Israel’s recent attack surpasses all previous assaults on Lebanon, with such aggressions continuing unabated.
He emphasized that resistance remains the only viable option. Qamati questioned whether the government has realized that diplomacy and international relations are no longer effective in light of these atrocities.Following the airstrikes by the Israeli regime on the evening prior, Hezbollah confirmed the martyrdom of eight of its members.
In its defense of these actions, the Israeli military claimed that it targeted several command centers and Hezbollah-related infrastructure in the Baalbek region and its surroundings.

Qamati asserted that the Lebanese captives will not remain imprisoned and that occupation will not persist, noting that an agreement to halt hostilities has existed for a year but remains unimplemented.He questioned the government’s silence in the face of Israeli crimes stating that their primary concern appears to be how to confiscate Hezbollah’s weapons.
