According to a recent statement from the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, the ongoing conflict has led to a significant rise in casualties since October 7, 2023. The latest figures reveal that 72,072 individuals have lost their lives as a result of the relentless attacks by the Israeli military.In addition, the Palestinian medical authority reported that the total number of injuries has reached 171,741 since the onset of hostilities in the region. In the past few hours, the bodies of two more martyrs have been transferred to the hospital, while three additional individuals have sustained injuries.Tragically thousands remain missing and are believed to be trapped under the rubble in Gaza. Since the ceasefire was established on October 11 2025 614 individuals have been reported dead with 1643 others injured. During this period the remains of 726 martyrs have been recovered from beneath the debris.
