According to reports from Mehr News Agency, Israeli President Isaac Herzog indirectly condemned Saudi Arabia’s stance towards the UAE, claiming that there are nations spreading discord and hatred between the two countries.<\/p>\n
Herzog’s remarks came during an Iftar banquet hosted by the UAE embassy in Tel Aviv. In his speech, he lauded Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, describing him as ‘one of the most admirable, powerful, and wise leaders of our generation.’These comments emerge amid rising criticisms from Saudi Arabia towards the UAE and Israel coinciding with escalating tensions over various regional issues including influence in Yemen and Sudan.<\/p>\n
Expressing gratitude for the UAE’s partnership Herzog asserted that the UAE has become a beacon of stability prosperity and peace reinforcing the commitment to continued bilateral cooperation despite widespread criticism.<\/p>\n
Additionally the Hebrew newspaper Maariv reported that Gideon Sa’ar Israel’s Foreign Minister was also present at the Iftar event held at the Hilton Hotel in Tel Aviv where he delivered a brief speech.
